after all is said and done
So, I went back to Crevier today to discuss the matter of my refund. They had already issued me a check for the full amount, but then called me on Friday to say there was going to be a stop payment placed on the check. Then, I got another call back saying that they weren’t going to put a stop payment on the check and that I needed to stop by on Tuesday. Fine. So, I go in there today, wait for more than an hour before I could talk to the BMW manager and the finance manager. I told them I appreciated the hard work that everyone had done to get me into the MINI, but just couldn’t agree to the stips provided by the lender. Great. Then they said they needed me to pay for the time that I had the car. Great. They said $1500. I said no way. I told them that they would be making more than what I was going to pay on the car, and that any amount would be unfair. But, not being stupid, I also no that I could have sat in the office all day long going back and forth until they would just threaten to sue. blah. not worth that. I told them that $50/per day would be as fair as I could come up with and they okie dokie. back tomorrow to give ‘em a check for $1200. ugh. and, i’m still without a MINI. But, I do get to drive around in my shit brown toyota wagon that gets about 12 miles to the gallon and needs shocks (at least there is still tread on the tires). I don’t think that I will be attending the event this weekend either. I’m going to head out to the outlet center and meet everyone, and probably leave early to I can stop for a few dozen donuts first. I will then send them all on their merry way, off to tear up the twisties of highways 76, 78 & 79. ugh. totally sucks ass, and that’s all I have to say about that.
