Well, no damage was done, but the rains of last week really took their toll on Roxy’s finish and appearance, so Meguiar’s to the rescue!
She got the clay bar treatment on the boot and bonnet, Meguiar’s Deep Crystal Step 2 polish on the boot & bonnet, NXT Tech Wax all the way around, Hot Shine on the tires and trim, Gold Class Metal Restorer on the wheels and Stoners Invisible Glass on the, um, glass.
I know I’ve mention this before, but the new Meguiar’s NXT stuff is awesome. If you haven’t tried it yet, you really should. Now even available at an autoparts store near you!
Had to fill up this AM since I had not the time to do it yesterday. I was almost empty and took a bit more than 12.5 gallons. At $2.449 per, that was a $31.00 fill-up! That’s $10 more than about 2 weeks ago.
I’ve decided against using regular unleaded for the time being, as the savings aren’t quite enough.
So, anyone think the price of super will hit $3.00?
I had this one waiting for me at my desk this morning, titled LET’S SCORE SOME GOOD KARMA. It is a score card that has items listed on such as waving to another motorer, saying have a good day to the toll booth operator and giving someone a jump. Set up in game format with about 10 cards attached, I’m sure it would be a hoot to play.
But, on the front of this is the following:
You’ll notice the first thing on the list is waving to another motorer. While this will only get you 5 points, don’t for a moment think it’s any less important that the rest. In fact, it’s something we feel people aren’t doing enough of these days. We’re not quote sure why. But it makes us sad. C’mon everyone. Let’s be friendly out there.
Amen to that! And I thought I was the only one.

5 tracks in 5 days. And in the Touring class, you have to drive your car from track to track and not use more than 3 sets of tires for the entire week! I really need to get my skills up so I could give this a go!
