Even after 2+ years and 87K+ miles, I still look out my kitchen window and see a VR/W MINI in my driveway and it gives me a little smile.

Some of you might be experiencing diffulcuty either accessing dbmini or you could get here and the site might be completely unreadable. I am now aware of this and will be taking steps to fix it today!
Update…I have been in the process of moving all of my sites to a new server. I will be moving dbmini in the next few days. I’ll be sure to post once the move happens. You should notice a thing except for a new address for the RSS Feed and there might be a slight delay in accessing the gallery.

(3) commentsBIG run yesterday. Yea, I broke down and actually did one for a change! It was close, so I figured why not?
Jim Skater put together a fantastic, if not slightly ambitious, run through the mountains of San Diego county. From Pala Casino:
Then, ran up Palomar Mountain, down to Lake Henshaw, over to Mesa Grande and through Winona Road into Julian. From there, it was down to Alpine and back up to Pala. Close to 200 miles, start to finish.
It was amazing to see alot of the burn areas from last years wildfires coming back to life. Lots of green grass and even some flowers, with the hulk of burned trees rising up from the ground. Almost surreal.

And, congratulations to Brad & Karin who celebrated their -1 year anniversary yesterday! Or, the negaversary as it’s called. 1 year from yesterday they will be married in Napa Ca. Congrats guys!

Found on top of the gas pumps at my local independant gas station. I’ve got 1 more pic over on my flickr.
From what I can tell, these are real MINI signs. Odd that they would show up here though as I am at least 50-60 miles from the closest MINI dealer.
1 commentListening to KROQ on the drive home tonight and I heard a commercial for the MINI convertible! Something like the Convertible Cops or something, I only heard the very end.
I’m going to have to search for this one. Anyone else hear it?
I know the main voice was John Marsh, which added just the right amount of silly. A preliminary google search so far has not turned anything up, but I’ll find it!
