From the Archives, II

Wow, I’m not even home but I’m still able to make a post. Ain’t I cool?

Anyway.

Why am I not home? Well, among other reasons, I’m in Vegas baby! AMVIV I photo.

That’s right, I’ll be at AMVIV III with Todd and we might be doing a podcast.

Hope you see you there!

Oh yea, want to read about my adventures from ’04?

Get Fireballed!

Fireball Tim! Fireball Tim Racing is now known as FIREBALLED! RACING. The site is minimal for now until after I get back from AMVIV, but in the coming weeks, we’ll be creating lots of new products for everyone to see and lotsa cool other stuff. And don’t forget to look for the “hidden” thingies*. Go check it out when you can and join the forum.

Oh yea, and go easy on me ;) (*hidden thingies are still hidden. Keep checking back)

My new Toy

Well, not new anymore, but I’ve been pretty busy with other things and forgot to let you know.

I am now a member of the iPod generation:

Yep, that is a 4GB iPod Nano fixed to Roxy’s dash.

Do I like it? Yep yep.

Am I going to buy a Mac? Probably not, so quit buggin’ me about it ;).

I will, however, post a complete write-up, including the snazzy mounting job, this weekend.

From the archives

Digging back to March, 2003 for this gem:

So i actually looked on a map today of where I went on saturday, and it was quite a way out of the way. turns out that i practically drove right past area 51 and looped almost completely around China Lake! all together, it was 371 miles from pahrump, nevada to my house in socal, and I loved every minute of it.

A little comparison between Roxy I and Roxy II. You can read the whole post here

where my miles come from

For those of you wondering how I was able to break the 100K barrier before Roxy turned 3 (coming soon!) I’ll give you a sample of some of the driving I actually do.

Last week for example I had to drive out to the middle of the Nevada desert to do some work 1 way = 254 miles

When I came home, I had to go to my office before going home. 1 way = 265 miles

I then drove home from the office 1 way = 55 miles

The next day, I drove out to Bellflower. 1 way = 62 miles

Add 1 round trip to the office on Monday and it looks like this: 55+55+254+265+55+124 = 808 miles.

I probably do this at least once a quarter, sometimes twice. Normally it’s just the office round trip of 110 miles which is no big deal (at least it isn’t to me). Wait until later this month when I head back out to the desert to do more work and attend AMVIV!

If things go as they should, I expect to be beyond 115K miles before Roxy turns 3 on 03-09.
