If you haven’t already, tomorrow is the last day to reserve your room at Palace Station with the discounted rates.

I’ve been looking around and these are the best rates you will find in Vegas for this weekend. Besides AMVIV, there are also a couple of conventions in town driving the prices up.

Hotel information can be found over at the AMVIV website. While you are there, you might want to think about registering for AMVIV as well, especially if you are going!

And, yes, I have my room and I’m registered.

Tire Update

Sorry gang. No review of the SPT this week.

I just got off the phone with my guy over at Discount Tire and he tells me that those tires are currently on back order. And, since I can’t really wait until who-knows-when for tires, I’m going to fall back on the ASXs instead, which I have used in the past and was very happy with.

I will put up my thoughts on those tires after I get a few miles on them.

In the meantime, if you are curious about those tires on a MINI, might I recommend checking out Gabe’s review over at Motoringfile. I have spoken to him about these tires before and he love ‘em!

Got a call from my guy at the bank last week. I was a few days late with my payment since I turned off the autopay in December and forgot. Oops.

Since I had him on the phone, went ahead and asked him what the balance of the loan was.

Roxy will be paid off next month! WOOHOO!

Guess it’s time to start getting serious on that r56 spec.

In the meantime, going in tomorrow for a new set of tires. After what everyone has been saying, I have decided to give the Kumho SBT SPTs a try. Besides that, can’t beat the price at my local America’s Tire Store.

And, be sure to check out Woof127 as soon as it goes up (probably sometime later today). Randy Webb is on with us and gives us the complete skinny on where he has been and what he has planned for Webb Motorsports!

Hey everyone! Hope all y’all had a safe and happy new year! Anyone play along with the drinking game for Woof121?

If you haven’t yet, cruise over and check out GoMotoring.com. Mark has made a few changes to the site, most notably moving it to WordPress. In making the move, he is now able to aggregate WAY more MINI blogs. I didn’t know there were that many out there!

For you hardcore car news nuts that still have yet to use a feed reader, he has also set up a page that has nothing but auto industry news. You can check that out here. Links there to all the biggest players on the web.
