Or, perhaps, a vacation. A MINI vacation. In Las Vegas even.
The MINIs in rough shape, but not horrible. I’ll get her nice and clean and I have a fresh bottle of coolant in the boot to combat any radiator leakage. Oh yea, I forgot to tell you about that. Almost expected with over 185K miles on the clock, ya know?
The cameras are warmed up and memory sticks are blank. All my blog pages are bookmarked. Heck, even Flickr and Viddler are dying for me to add some ‘Vegas style’ content.
If you are going to AMVIV, be sure to find us and say hi (leave a comment below too if you like). If you aren’t going, be sure to keep an eye on WRR, WR.tv and MF for all the goodness.
I’ll be on my way first thing Thursday morning. 1 stop to stock the cooler and that’s about it until Vegas…Vegas baybee!!!!

Not only is there a new ElCo in the works, but it going to be shown at the New York Auto Show, and Jalopnik, a fine bunch of El Camino loving lads as well, are keeping close tabs on it. Heck, they even have video! Click the image for all of their posts.
I am a fan, but I wish it looked more El Camino, less Grand Prix. Maybe if they could come up with a way to modernize this.
Oh baby. You gotta love a ’64. Or, you know, maybe a very early ’65 that had a ’64 front end and the improved ’65 rear. With a 327 under the hood, painted Cadillac Metalic Grey with grey velour tuck and roll on the bench seat.
Yea, I’d buy that car for sure!
(10) commentsI just setup up WRR to be a little more iPhone/iPod touch friendly. Go ahead and check. It’s not perfect, but until I get an iPod Touch, it’s about as good as it gets.
Any interest bringing that functionality here? Do many of you start your MINI web adventures on your iPhone over at The MF News Room or GoMotoring and land here, thinking “man, it sure would be sweet if db made his blog easier to read on my iPhone”.

Just about 2 weeks until AMVIV and I am beyond ready!
For those of you that didn’t get the AMVIV update from Agro.
I told you in my last email that Palace Station set up an extra group rate of 30 rooms at a discount from the regular rate. There are still 15 of these rooms left, in case anyone is just now deciding to attend. The phone number is 800-634-3101 and the group code is PCIMVI2.

I also told you last time that MINIUSA is sponsoring lunch at the track. That is still true, but I have to tell you that the SoCal MINI Maniacs have stepped up and kicked in some money to help buy food at the Meet The MINIacs Mixer on the Friday night. So the mixer is now presented by the Sin City MINI Club and the SoCal MINI Maniacs. This happened too late to make it into the event book, so I need to make sure everyone knows.
