Those crazy Cummins Diesel guys wanted to have something to show off at Goodwood. I think this counts.
Cummins has announced the introduction of a unique Mini at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The car features a massive 78-liter V18 QSK78 diesel engine, with 12 turbochargers, that produces 3,500 bhp (2,610 kW / 3,549 PS) and 14,000 Nm (10,324 lb-ft) of torque.
Sure, it doesn’t work. But just imagine, event for a short minute, if it did. I’m sure it would peel the tread right off the tires.

Even if it does work, they would never bring it over here for sale in the U.S. Yeah, good luck on trying to get that to pass California emissions.
