Upgrades

As ukpylot has already pointed out, it would seem that all of the MINI bloggers are currently working on or have recently taken delivery on new MINI’s! It’s like an epidemic.

I too have been working on this for the last 2 weeks. For fear of jinxing it, I’m not going to say anything else except for this

    You forgot the JCW kit :-O

    Kidding. Something about $6,000 plus (local dealer quoted price) for an installed JCW kit says “bend over” although I’m tempted.

    you are correct in why I forgot the jcw. Warranty or not, I can’t justify spending that kind of money.

    I’m thinkin’ about dropping the H/K and iPod adapter too and spending the money and better quality components. Not to worry, I replaced the H/K with the interior chrome trim :D

upgrades

As I mentioned in a previous post, dbmini.us will be changing over to the WordPress system.

I expect to start the change around 12:00PST, so if things look a bit strange, wait a minute, refresh and everything will be back to normal. I don’t expect the switch over to take more than a few minutes.

Affected functionality
–Comments – Will not be as they are now. Also, all current comments will be lost. I will try to import them at a later time.
–RSS feed – The current RSS feed will no longer be available. If you are using are linking to the rssify.php file, it too will no longer be available. I will be posting the new RSS feed as soon as the switch is complete.

Affected pages
This upgrade will affect the main dbmini.us page, the gallery page and handy links. If you have bookmarked any of these pages, you will have to update them. I will post the correct URI’s after the switch as well.

The site will still look and navigate the same, so don’t worry about that!

I will update again once the upgrade is complete.
