60K service, Part II

All service has been completed for what is called Inspection 2. Work that was done:
Oil and filter change
A/C filter change
All fluids checked and refilled
Air filter change (if not aftermarket)
Fuel filter change
Replace 2 fan belts.

Since it was in, I also went ahead and had them flush and fill the brake system. It cost too much, but it would have been way messier if I would have done it.

Altogether, this service visit cost me right at $500. Yea, ouch indeed.

New MINI SA at Crevier was less than inspiring this time around. I’m used to getting beyond supurb service from Crevier. This time tho the level of service was no where near what I’m used to. I’m not saying I had bad service, but more like no service. The SA didn’t even write me up this morning, failed to return a call I made yesterday and didn’t give me any real details of this visit without my constant prodding. Yea, no 5’s for Crevier this time around that’s for sure.

On the brake system flush…if you have aftermarket brakes and still have a mushy pedal, then by all means get this service done or do it yourself! Makes a world of difference.
