Man, I really hate this:
On a Sunday no less. I think I ran over something pretty major too. When there is air in it, you can actually hear it leaking out.
Not to worry, the good lads at Americas/Discount Tire have me covered. When I bought these tires (Kumho Ecsta ASX) I paid a few extra bucks to get the good warranty from them. That means that if a tire goes bad and they can’t fix it, they replace it for free! Well, not quite free since I have to pay tax and the fees that go with, but I don’t have to pay for the tire.
And since these tires already have about 15K miles on them, I’m having them replace to keep the wear even. The last thing I want is to have 1 tire not wearing out like the others.

I loved discount tire when I lived in IL, they were great to deal with. I really wish we had them in the east, all the tire companies here are out to get you.
btw do you rotate your tyres? MINI says not to, right? but if you don’t, Discount Tyre will say your warranty is invalid.
I don’t have to. Discount Tire does that for me every 5K miles.
But, remember, these are not runflats. But even when I had runflats, I still rotated them. Of course, I did it myself in the driveway. Back to front is all I ever did.
Well one thing I notice, you go to Discount Tire whereas mine are from Discount Tyre :)
Make sure you rotate them at 3-5k if you’re going to go that route. Relatively bald tires on the back of a MINI is not a good thing.
