From this story:
Big things come in small packages.
The Shelby Township Police Department recently took delivery of a new Mini Cooper to help carry the message of the Drug Abuse Resistance Education program, courtesy of Bavarian BMW/Motor City Mini in Shelby Township.
D.A.R.E. Officer Al O’Neal said the vehicle has received a lot of interest from students in the program.
“I think it will make a big impression on the kids,” O’Neal said. “I’ve even got a lot of nice comments from adults around the community. They’ll stop me while I’m out in the community and comment on it.”
This is really cool to see, especially since the lad is pretty big on this program.
I’ve seen the picture of the MINI as a Police Car. I know it caught my attention!
