My First

Of all days to not have my camera with me.

I had just finished getting 2 new Kumho Ecsta ASX’s installed on Roxy and needed fuel. Went to the cheapest station I could find where premium was less than $4.00 a gallon (but not by much) and proceeded to fill up.

$50.50 later, I had 12.8 gallons of fuel.

Yes, $50.

I know I’m not the first, but man what a shock!

  1. Congrats! Wait, hmmm just remember when you paid $50 for a fill up after the gas companies spike their prices this summer. 50 will seem like a dream.

  2. Yikes! you guys are still a bit more expensive than the East Coast (Boston) I too filled up today on premium – $3.53 a gallon ($50.01)

  3. Shell gas station, 6 blocks from my house, $3.98 per gallon for V-Power 93 octane.

$4 gas has landed in Miami.

  4. $50 for premium is nothing to complain about….i live in NY and routinely pay $45 and up for regular unleaded gas.

close to 10 percent of the cost is state gas taxes. i love new york!
