Motorfile posted an interesting story about MINI resale values. As it turns out, I just ran Roxy through Kelly Blue Book and turns out she is still worth a bit of money, even with 60K miles.
High Resale: $18,700
Mid Resale: $16,500
Trade In: $14,300
Overall, I’m fairly pleased with those results. And no, she is NOT for sale! :D
My fear is if the resale value is high, who will choose a 100K mile MINI over a brand new one? Or would anyone want a high mileage MINI at all – we all know how hard they get driven.
I know how hard I’ve driven mine, that’s for sure!
I wouldn’t mind getting a higer mileage MINI, say 50K or less miles. As long as all of the service visits were completed and all MAJOR issues resolved.
Funny thing is, KBB is no guide to true value.
