In case you haven’t seen it yet…

I actually have a couple of things for you today

  • A MINI Vacation in Vegas ’06 has dates! Mark March 24th – 26th, 2006 on those calendars gang. More information can be found at www.amviv.com
  • Over at WRR Todd, Gabe and myself had the chance to speak with Randy Webb. You can check that out here

Oh yea, filled up again today. First off, it was $.30 less than earlier in the week, so that’s a good sign. Next up, my driving must be fairly consistent because I pulled another 33.3MPG out. Same as before. Still getting reports from MCS drivers of 28MPG or better. Anyone beat 30MPG in an MCS yet?

  1. I got 30.1 (calculated) on two consecutive tanks on my run to/from Canada for the F1 GP – long steady driving at highway speeds … that’s with any(?) auto tranny losses too

  2. We get 31-32 mpg consistently in the daily commute with our MCS. I did achieve (according to the OBC) 37 mpg on an all-highway commute from Jacksonville to Tampa. It’s quite possible to get good mileage in an S (our other car is a Honda Insight so it’s a bit easier when you know the tricks).

  3. I’m curious what your daily commute consists of, I’ve never seen 31MPG for city driving. Not that that means anything but I’d love to know how to get that in mine.

I think the only time I ever got 30+ in my ’02 MCS was from Brawley to Las Vegas.
