Holy crap! What a great event! For those of you that aren’t familiar with it, A MINI Vacation in Vegas is the largest annual gathering of MINI Coopers held in the US. At the end of March, you can always expect Sin City to be swarming with MINIs, and this year was no exception.
More than 500 were in attendance, a remarkable number considering the state of the economy. And these MINIs came to motor! Over 100 MINIs made the drive over Hoover Dam to Temple Bar Marina on Lake Mead. Almost that many did the cruise to Nelson’s Landing and almost **250** showed up to cruise The Las Vegas Strip!
Once the winds died down, everyone took the chance to hang out on the top deck of the Palace Station parking garage to check out some cool MINIs, chat with friends and check out the wares brought in by over 20 vendors.
Once again, the Sin City MINI Club put on one helluva show! Todd and I got to meet lots of people, meet with old friends and see some very cool MINIs! Congratulations and thanks go out to everyone that made this such a fantastic event! If you missed it this year, make plans now to attend next!
